Cyanotype Prints

This collection features my favorites from experimenting with cyanotype techniques and chemicals. The methods used include hand coated cyanotypes, hand coated wet cyanotypes, van dyke brown printing, and gum bichromate printing.

The multiple classes I took in photographic process gave me an entirely new and strong appreciation and love for photography. Deeply diving into the historic methods of photography with the lens of modernity, I was able to explore so many possibilities. These methods combined my interests in printing, darkroom, and collage. Not to mention, my favorite color is blue, so I was drawn to this technique even further.
